Going to Fenway is always special to me. Always. I’ve been hundreds of times since I was a little kid but every single time it’s special. I love riding the T. I love seeing the Citgo sign coming out of Kenmore. I love walking around Yawkey and Landsdowne. I love taking in the sights and smells of Fenway and Boston.
And nothing beats seeing the Sox come from behind 2-0 to start the game, and not only win 4-3 but Papelbon pitch lights out and shutdown the Rays. The place is electric after a win. You can’t guarantee a night like this when you go to any ballpark, much less Fenway. It’s special. As it should be. Best ballpark in the country.
