Sometimes players need in game reminders. I always wrote on my wrist tape. The inside of my left wrist was always something uplifting and positive, my inside of my right was always whatever memorable lines opponents or coaches burned into my memory over the years to fuel me. Sometimes I would put a message about someone on the tops of my wrists.

I always took my pregame ritual very seriously, it’s my quiet time before all hell breaks loose.
