My great aunt died a couple months ago but her Facebook is still open. It’s heartbreaking to watch her daughter (my cousin second removed? whatever…) post on her wall multiple dies a day as if she were still alive. She is losing it bigtime. It gets worse as time passes. Very sad seeing that play out.

And why does Facebook always ask me to reconnect with my aunt? It always tells me to. Don’t you think I would if I could????

Life is a ride.: In two days... → blanklove.tumblr.com

I will get my aortic heart valve replacement surgery that I have been waiting for, for so long. In two days they will cut me down the middle, stop my heart, and snip out a part of my body that just wasn’t good enough. I will be “dead” for almost two hours. I’ll be completely under from the early…

Good luck man, like you said, life is too short for people that try to drag others down. I’ll keep you in my thoughts. Take care.

New Jersey - Boston - Montreal - Next: Chicago

Being a Boston fan, this normally would bother me. But Boston choked and Philly wanted it more. Should be an awesome Stanley Cup Finals and if anyone can take out the Hawks it’s the Flyers.

The great American writer left instructions not to publish his autobiography until 100 years after his death, which is now. → independent.co.uk

“He [Mark Twain] had doubts about God, and in the autobiography, he questions the imperial mission of the US in Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. He’s also critical of [Theodore] Roosevelt, and takes the view that patriotism was the last refuge of the scoundrel. Twain also disliked sending Christian missionaries to Africa. He said they had enough business to be getting on with at home: with lynching going on in the South, he thought they should try to convert the heathens down there.”

imma read this so hard.

I can’t wait!

Yesss!

it's almost worst, because I know when I confront him about it he's going to just act like I'm being completely insane. She lives in his hometown 3000 miles away but that doesn't make any difference. He's constantly IMing with her, texting her, exchanging emails he closes if I get to close to the computer... Especially with the current turbulence in our relationship right now it's all too much. Wow. totally unloading on you right now, haha sorry.

I think it is worse, personally. The mind is both the strongest and weakest part of a person I think, because when things like this pop up it drives us crazy. In my experience, people that are open windows don’t freak out if you get to close to the computer. Transparency is like trust times 1000 - if he feels bad/guilty about doing something and tries to hide it then go with your gut. You’re 100% right - it doesn’t matter where she lives, as long as he is acting shady you SHOULD worry because his mind is elsewhere. Guys have this thing where we don’t want to hurt someone, so we won’t say this or that, or we don’t do this or that, when usually hiding things behind someone’s back is 10 times worse than just being upfront and honest and transparent. Don’t feel bad about unloading, you obviously need to. Message me any time you need to talk.

I hope this little assholes get what they deserve in jail because God knows if they don’t the people around here will channel their inner vigilante. Not a good time to be these bastards.
